whats the average time from ordering to collection

How long have people had to wait from first placing their order to collection, for a body and chassis kit???

Richy - facts about MK

1. Family run 'small' business.
2. 'Lo' cost for a reason - they do it more for love than money!
3. Holiday season and Hot weather affects a small business significantly.

Good for your Dad having a go at them for not hitting scheduled delivery time. However, there are more important things occasionally than running a business, some things that others know little of.

Unfortunately, MK's FAMILY run business is now 'sadly' minus one very valued family member.

My heart felt sympathy goes to the family MK... may he rest in peace.

yeah, sorry to hear about that

but i think the problem was comunication i rang up MK and they said that the delivery was going to be around the 18th Aug i then rang back a week later and it was september the 13th and there was no explanation so it felt like i had just been pushed to the back of the que, i presumed the worsed , my dad didnt have a go he just asked why it was going to take longer and told Mk why we needed the kit earlier becuase of me going back to university
the problem was that i had to ring up, i would have much prefered it if MK would have rang and told me there was going to be a delay and explained why there were problems and i would understand this.. i had to ring up becuase i was left guessing when my kit was going to be ready

Im not cross dont worry i just would have preferd to know if my kit was going to be delayed so i could know when to book the van and get chris to come to notingham

I think the MK is the leader in the Lo-cost sector i dont think of the MK as being a lo cost car (nothing to do with money) when people say lo cost i think of robin hoods with poor fitting chassis components and sharp metal that has to be sanded down. From what i have heard Mk have the upmost quality and that is exactly why i bought one instead of a tiger even after going and having a ride in a tiger at the open day, ive never even sat in an MK i walked straight past the MK stand at a show i went to becuase i was so set on getting a tiger, when i went on this forum and found out how people were not happy with thier Tigers i had to look elsewhere, i then looked at Mk and even though the thought of having to select and choose all the components like speedos and exhausts MK seemed like the best chassis.
