zx12 mounting points?

can anyone point me in the direction of some good photos of the mountings for zx12 in an indy. I've tried the usual places but can't see any properly. I think my mounts might be wrong!

Unfortunately I can't upload pictures for some reason but there all in my photobucket album here

Have i done something really stupid? The engine is bolted in place on the offside (drivers) but the bracket from MK is about 2 inches out on the nearside(passenger). As far as I can see it would be impossible to bolt the O/S anywhere else!?!?!

There are two different mounting locations for the ZX12R depending on year of engine. Our engine is 2004 and has a single mount at the front, which can be seen in the lower picture.

The picture below shows the engines rear upper mountings. Lower mountings are also just visible. There may also be a few more pictures on our website.

Did MK have your engine for locating the mounts when they built your chassis? What is actually wrong, does your engine not fit?

No I just told them to buid it to take a ZX12R motor but didn't specify a year as I didn't have the motor at the time. The block I have is an '01 although it was out of an '04 bike (just to complicate things). I just checked my O/S mounts and they are actually the same as yours. However on the N/S 2 points on the top rail with a seperate piece bar that I figure must attach somehow.

Thanks mate, is yours a later model block too?? I think I figured mine out now although I think the extra bracket they gave me may need spacing from the chassis??

from what ive been told (thank you mr hellfire) the later models have the two mounting points in the middle of the head head between the two centre exhaust ports (like mine) and the earlier models use the two very outer points as in the piccy

mine was a real pig to line up with the mk mount hence i used it as a paper weight lol

also ive used those two ugly brackets to hold my heat shield on
