Good grief, that's a 2000cc engine. I suppose you can dump $20,000 into a two-cylinder old-school design bike engine and get something pretty awsome. That must have terrible vibration issues... stock Harleys are bad enough. Of course for a bit more $$$ why not get the Hayabusa-based V8 and be done with it?

It reminds me of the guys with show cars, where $200,000 is dumped into a... Honda... um, congratulations?

Yeah I guess I'm just tired out and cynical. Unless the car (any kit car) is <$20K, and in a kit, it won't sell, and it's just about impossible to make any money when they're that cheap.

At first glance, I think its quite a nice looking car; streets ahead of the Atom.
However, on second looks, it's a potential death trap! Look at the roll hoop braces and the shoulder harness mounts!
And really, a Harvey Danielson isn't going to pull anyones foreskin back in a hurry.

Cheers, Rorty.

Success in the kitcar industry:
1. Create a GOOD LOOKING car, and I mean a good looking not like the current crop
2. Take proffessional pictures of it.
3. Publish pictures, drawings and a build manual ( not a build-diary a MANUAL) in a book.
4.Sell book together with information on where they can get the parts (to who you sold the mold to etc)
5. Get back to your paying dayjob, since you'll never get a kitcar company to produce any serius money.

Presto.

Cheers

That is funny!

I like the car. Seem possible for manny of us to fabricate something similar. A transverse bike engine would be just the ticket. Steve, while he's sending pictures, why not ask for the CAD model or did they designing chopper-style with rulers, chalk and flat concrete?

Steeve did you receive the permission to post the aditionnal pics and info you receive ?

By comparison,CAmapgna motosport mfg of the t-Rex are DOT approved in the us with a network of dealers and the manage to sell no more than 200-300 a year at a price of 60k$ the first T-Rex they sell in canada where 25-30k$ cdn...new manufacturing plant, dealers markup add alot to the price... and they have a pretty good deal for the bike parts from kawasaki so they don't have to buy the complete bike. By what we hear in Québec they been bankrupt once already and are close to closing all the time. The custom kit as they plan seems difficult to get going...to make money.

If someone think SVA is tough you've got to see what the SAAQ require here...Still searching a way to get a project on the road.....

The Harley engine may not be the most powerful engine out there, but it sure does sound awesome..

No, not yet. Haven't heard back yet. I'll post them up in a few days if I don't heard back. I wouldn't want my stuff bandied around without my knowledge so prefer to get permission.

Cool and innovative... I particularly like the chassis, it's integrated well with the body design
