I can't imagine that my chassis would pass the ADR's in its current configuration. I really don't know enough about them to say for sure. But I wouldn't be averse to shipping a body down under if you were to have a capable chassis for it...

This might work then. I am talking with a local (Arizona,USA) company about building track-only versions for their high-performance driving school.

Whatever the case. At this time it's really putting the horse before the cart though. I won't be selling anything until the car is fully sorted out. So expect that to be at least, at least, 6 months from now. I would not offer any product that had not been thoroughly and properly sorted at the track.

Progress report - Almost finished with the first 6oz layups. Here is a photo where I am laying up the gates and rolling out air bubbles along the flange for the rear deck and fenders.

I finally found that book on Photographing cars. It was in my sons room. (good boy!)

"How To Photograph Cars. The enthusiast's guide to techniques and equipment" By Tony Baker. A Haynes publication. ISBN Number: 1 85960 855 8. It's a British publication.

Certainly, I can't recall the name just this minute, but I'll get the name, author and isbn# for you the next time I am home... (not very often these days)

Thanks, I am now out to 12oz thickness on almost the entire surface. About 5 more days to finish the main layups, then it's on to the supporting steel superstructure.

Well, it's done. The mould layups are completed. 12oz of mat and 3 oz of biaxial cloth.

Tomorrow or Wednesday will be a VERY BIG day. Removal of the moulds from the plug. I will certainly take lots of photos and shoot some video too.

I have added the steel superstructures to help carry the big moulds off the plug. They are not designed to reinforce the mould in any way. Then I'll build rotating stands for the front and rear pieces to ease manufacturing. They are big and probably very heavy.

Now we are driving the car again and still prepping the moulds for the first part layups. That little car is just as fast as I remember it! 115Hp, 1122Lbs - Not spectacular, but better than most street cars.
