there are many others available. most are adjustable platform so the can be raised or lowered a bit (maybe an inch all in).

the main choice is adjustable or non adjustable damping rate. this one has been argued to death and beyond, basically if you want to change springs you want adjustable so that the damping can be matched to the spring. If you dont want to change the spring rate then you may as well have fixed damping rate, provided it has been designed with a locost weight in mind. most front shocks seem to be *roughly* 300thingies per inch, whatever the unit is...

the cheapest fixed rate ones i know of are from gtstuning, about £220, the adjustable ones can be had on offer from £250.

some maybe cheaper (zeemeride?) but dunno much about them.

hope that helps and wasnt all cr4p that you already knew!
