WTD - crossflow alternator
as above really for a 1300 x flow the one i have seems to be for the opposite side im assuming they had 2 engine configerations?
or am i just completely stupid!

IIRC you should be able to remove the alternator body screws and rotate the two casings to the alignment you need. If not one from a classic Mini will
be the same.

^^^ yes - what he said. It will be Lucas type on which there are 2 or 3 very long bolts; undo and then rotate so the lugs are in the required
orientation.

Minispares are doing a good deal on new alternators. Also been quoted good prices at Partco lately.

ok it has 4 long bolts which i removed today only to find once i rotate the end that it doesnt line up do i have the right alternator sorry no pics
