suspension set up and tracking
My car has been SVA'd and passed some time ago, so now after a track day focused ride height etc settings.
my frend who built a Westfield Busa is brillaint at this type of stuff and has offered his serives free of charge which I cannot refuse. He took his
car after he set up to "race car doctor" for him to basically confirm his set up was spot on! so, the guy for a self tauch lad knows his
stuff.
anyways, my Indy is running very low at the moment and he firstly wants to bring that up. What ride height would you track boys reconmend?
secondly, what toe in setting are people rocking?
just in case it helps mine in a standard Indy chassis with standard Protec shocks and springs and I am running on 15 R888's
thanks in advace and any pointer would be great in how to get the best from these cars. i want a set up that i can take to the track and then fine
tune to suit me.

thanks for the info Procomp, laurence forwarded it to me.
Looks like there a lot more factors to review and address before we crack on with the job in hand.
where do I even begin with balancing the shocks and new bushes?
I hate to be one of asking the usual, but here it goes, where froma nd how much?
i dont want the car to be an out and out race car, but would like to know i am getting the best out of what i have as such.
thanks again for your info and knoweldge.

Hi the info given was nothing to do with actual settings. His friend is more than able enough to work out how to set the car up with the actual
settings.
The suggestions where more what to expect and the compromises that would have to be taken into account. And info regarding the bushes due to his
friend asking about the bushes on an other forum.
Damper balancing is where the dampers are set so that a pair have the same poundage as each other when on the same number of clicks. This can be set
on the Protechs but not on the GAZ or AVO. There you have to run a different number of clicks to gain the same poundage.
All this has been discussed many times by myself on the forum. But unfortunately all i get from a few Certain MK owners is grief and childish
behaviour when i talk about setting up or MK in general. Hence it was U2U'd.
Cheers Matt
