torque settings for wishbones

Hi all,

cornerweighting the MK on wednesday and need to know the reconmended torque figure for the wish bones. Standard MK Indy chassis.

Also, anyone know what inserts/bushes are used at all?

These tend to all use crush washers so just very tight.

If corner weighting then they should all be loose when you start, you tighten when the car is at ride height driver in.

Maybe not so important with polybushes but if you have the fixed rubber bushes this is a must or it will affect weights and the bushes will not last long.

Regards Mark

understand that we need to slacken them off to gain required ride height and then tighten, its just what to?

Like Mark says, there is no need to slacken them off and then re-tighten. Assuming you have poly-bushes fitted, your wishbones should be free to pivot on the crush tubes, restricted only by the coil over dampers.
