TOWING EYES FOR THE INDY

Thinking of putting some towing eyes ie the red ones use in racing cars on the indy (front and back). Whats the best way of fixing them the the chassis? The front should not be much of a problem as the crossmember at the front is perfect. The rear is not so easy.

Which side on the rear and front should i have them? Left or right side?

Thanks locosters

If it was me I would be very careful as it's only 16g box and unless you keep the tension on the tow rope there could be a possibility of tearing the eye off,

Mines welded to the plate that I landed the rear hoop stay on NSR pic

Had not welded the hoop at this stage but you can see how I attached. Its was a front tow hoop from a classic range rover BTW
