Custom Aluminium Tank Fabricators?

I've previously been recommend AllyFab, but they want £450 to make my tank!

Can anyone recommend anyone with a more sensible pricing structure?

James

I can wholeheartedly recommend Pro-Alloy... superb, but a little pricey!

You could also speak to ANDY WILTSHIRE the man is an artist (and not as pricey as many!).

Paul Talbot - typical price £100 - £150,
tel 07716089806

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1

Interestingly I was discussing this same topic with my brother last night. He recommended

http://www.allyfab.co.uk

Got a sumped and baffled + foamed fuel tank to his own design and a header tank all for 250 notes.

See OP - Allyfab wanted £450!!!

Cloudy - out of interest, how complex is your tank? Bryn made us 3 fury tanks for less than that a couple of years ago....

Fairly unusual - he did call back actually and said he'd made a mistake, it's still £270 though

Best price so far is £190+VAT from rallyweld.co.uk

Sounds like you've made the same mistake as me.. there is more than one company called Allyfab, I got a quote for my tank similar to yours from one of these and they wanted to make it out of 3mm mild....

The 'good' Allyfab is Bryn - his e-mail is bryn.jones12@btinternet.com, got my tank from him, as has Chris-p-duck and they are both fantastic (assuming Chris ever gets around to putting fuel in his....). Think mine was £140 sumped and baffled.

I can recommend Joe (Welderman on here) He's making me one for my Fury as we speak to custom dimensions.

Saw a very nice tank on the haynes roadster forum, I'm sure the guy who made it said he would make one for anyone for £85 delivered in the UK. There are pictures of it in the post. Looks good value IMO.
