R1 fuel pipe
Hi all,
I have a carbed R1 engine in my MK, is an 8mm fuel pipe okay for this?
Also, is it best to use a copper or rubber fuel line? Where can i get them from?
Before I forget, how is SVA on spacing and p-clips for these?
Thanks
James

you should be good with stainless braided rubber pipe. clips should be every 30cm i think. best go with rubber lined P clips

I used 10mm copper micro bore plumbing pipe.
For how much you need ask a local plumber or a merchants to see if they have an offcut.
BTW, 8mm should be fine.

Don't know what the score is on braided fuel hoses as my sva required the fuel hose to be marked with application it was designed for ie.
unleaded petrol and supported with documentary evidence from manufacturer ( was tipped off in advance by jabahutt as his failed on this) 8mm copper is
fine mine came from B and Q
