MK Indy R1 first start

Hi guys and girls, Its a bit late but 2 weeks ago on the 8th i finally got my engine running!!!!!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t-2NnJtHoBM
Its taken me sometime to post this since ive been working nights and havent had much time lately.
It wasnt actually the first start as i had a bit of trouble initially, as the engine would turn over fine but would not fire, a few attempts later and checking and then re-checking the wiring with the wiring diagrams it seemed everything was connected, after a few more failed attempts it was looking more and more that my engine wasnt going to start and after helping to get my mate Daves engine running the day before it was even more frustrating!! I was then sat starring at my engine when i noticed that a red wire had come loose out of one of the grey connectors with this pushed fully into its housing and the starter wires connected i was soon listening to the roar of the R1 engine, all i can say is wot a feeling!!!

Nice work Greg (&Dave)

How far off driveable are they?

You have that massive and private yard to play in

Well Done! It's a great feeling when it fires up.

Why do they call Port Harcourt "The Garden City"?...... Becauase they can't spell Stramash.

The first start up is one of the fondest memories you'll have of the entire build. It's a great feeling. Enjoy......
