I was going but............
Actually I never go on Saturdays, too busy!
Cheers
Chris
Note to all: I really don't know when to leave well alone. I tried to get clever with the mods, then when they gave me a lifeline to see the
error of my ways, I tried to incite more trouble via u2u. So now I'm banned, never to return again. They should have done it years ago!

Well, as ever had a good time up at MK's.
Even got 'Ar Kid' to take my girlfriend out for a spin in the Cadbury car. Thought it might enthuse her into realising it's worth
all the time/effort.
"It was alright.. but not as good as a bike" was the response!
Bloody women!!! Do they appreciate anything worthwhile at all???
Oh well, did my best!
Anyway, came away from MK best part of £600 lighter so it must have been a good day!
Thanks again Martin!

James,
Being the proud owner of a new set of protechs, can you do me a favour and measure the open and closed lengths for me? As the indy is wider, are the
shocks the same as book with the pick up on the wishbones further away from the uprights? Or are the shocks longer?
Front and back shock measurements would be appreciated a huge amount.
Asked before but no-one seemed to know!!

Go,
Open is 13" which I guess is 1" longer than book isn't it?
Not sure what the closed is- how do I tell? Do I need to compress the thing to measure it? In which case- at 330lb you've got no chance!
Can't Luego supply you the shocks you need for the Velocity- or do you just fancy the Pro-tech ones?
Ned,
Yeah that included your seats.
I made a mistake actually and told him who they were for- after that they went up to £250- sorry!

What, you need to get down the gym, should be able to squish 330lbs now worries! might be tricky to measure tho, you'll prob need an
assistant.
Would measuring the length of the "exposed shaft" () tell you anything??
From whats been said on here, the protechs seem to be the best choice, but only if they fit!
I might have to give Martin a buzz and see if he can get them in other lengths.

It's nice having them in ali'. They're light until you put the spring on. Then they seem way too heavy!
I've never held shocks before so don't know how they compare with steel ones.
Martin put the springs on for me (clearly thinks I'm a jessie too) but it took him and a helper quite a lot of effort to do so I'm afraid
I don't fancy taking the spring out to measure it for you! Sorry!

Go,
Right, just for you I took the bloody spring out of one yesterday- so I hope you're grateful as it was bloody hard work!
Centre of bolt hole to centre of bolt hole they're 260mm closed.
Cheers,
James
