Gear extension problems

I've bought a gear extension from Rally Design. Lovley bit of kit, bit I've found that after fitting, the extension clashes with the prop shaft.

It seems the bottom of the lever is now directly over the widest part of the propshaft universal joint.

My propshaft originally came out of an Indy so either a) the original propshaft had the joint in the wrong place b) the indy chassis doesn't like the turret.

I would suspect a) in which case I expect I'd be better off selling on the extension, which is a PITA as its really nice.

Why me..oh why does it always happen to me?

I had same problem, I had a smaller front joint fitted at Dave Mac Propshafts in Coventry.
Pity they don't mention this potential problem when you buy.

Steve.

Cool
Just thought it was me going nuts.

How much did it cost for the propshaft? Is it just an exchange or they fix yours?

Thankfully Cov isn't too far away.
