pinto 202 block?

anyone know any thing about it?is it any good,is it newer than the 205,is it worth bieing

Never seen a 202 block 200 yes which is a late cosworth block

From a Transit, and perfectly okay to use, no strength issues at all, in fact I would use it or a 205 without any concern at all.

Not all transits had the low comp pistons.

20 block is the early block as fitted to rs2000 and cortina
205 as fitted to the sierra, also the cosworth 2wd. It has different quality numbers
200 is the cossie (escort and sierra) 4x4 block. Has thicker block walls.
202 is the transit late model. has thicker gearbox webs on the rear of the block.

There are also the smaller engines 13, 16 and the 185
