just had all my family stood at the road side as i set off
wheel spin in 1st
and second
oh and third
and that was taking it easy

and possibly a slightly bigger petrol tank

Nah - just find a local petrol station with a babe behind the counter and use the tiny petrol tank as an excuse to go visit her often!!

just spoke to dvla swansea and they cant tell me if my car is taxed or not

anyone with access to an ANPR computer??
need to check my tax is actually onits way
(might be in my best interests to check before i drive much further)

If they've registered it then they'll have taxed it. Thats why you have to pay up front for the tax with the registration fee. They can't tax it from next month, its too early for them to be able to do that.

Take it easy till you get used to it. Don't want to see one of those "Here's a picture of my car in a hedge" threads.

when im brave enough to travel long distances ill pop over and let you have a go see how it compares
ill be honest it scares the hell out of me for the first 10 mins of driving and then i stop

i havent managed to miss a gear yet but my heal and toe downshifts arent as good as they once were

i took my little brother for a quick ride out
today
thought it was properly quick
until he pointed out i was only revving it to 10k

think i might need a nappy or 2 before my next drive .

dont worry about straight line speed its the twisty bits where you'll make me look stupid

I need to softern my shocks as i dont seem to get much traction while my wheels aint on the ground!

God did that hurt when it came back down.
