About to buy springs..
I am about to buy springs for the engine swap, was wondering what length and diameter I am looking for so i dont have to start taking my car apart at
the moment, suffering from lack of sleep and a stinking cold! Just another year at Stoneleigh! oh the dampers are protecs.
The ratings i have are from hellfire 250 fr 175 rr
Thanks
Graham

Tis a good question and I do not hold the answer however. Me and friend sent my Protechs off to be dyno'nd by Procomp so they could be paired
and matched. My buddy also explanied how it seemed that MK supply the exact same shocks for a CEC and BEC! I too am shortly in need of a more
compatible lower spring for a lighter R1 engine I have rather than the supplied CEC oriented poundage.

The spring diameter for every Protech damper I have seen is 1.9" ID, but the length will depend on many other things and will be different for
every car depending on your target ride height etc.
