Wozsher Wishbones Update

Just thought I'd let you know that there is a vast improvement in the handling.
Took the car out today for a reasonable run to north wales 48 mile each way. even in the cross wind the car is so much lighter on steering and more responsive coming off lock. got to dial out the bump steer again ( I knew I was going to get bump steer back as when I fitted the wishbones I could see the arms coming back and up) If anything though it's brought the arms back toward the central position, looks like I'll have to remove some of the shims under the rack it's only evident under really HEAVY braking and acceleration and only about 1mm which (compared with the 5mm toe-in toe-out change I had when I first set the car up years ago) is nothing.
All in all very happy (apart from the road works by the hooton turn off and the new road layout after two mills when you join the A55 or is it the A550 (were the f**k did that junction come from )
SWMBO's ears are bleeding from sitting next to the exhaust
I think warren's next project should be some mudgaurd brakets that aren't so hard to bend and fit

Never mind going towards Wales, what about coming back? Unless you can remember the actual road number of the road that you need you are at risk of ending up on the 56 towards Manchester now. The first time I encountered it there were still roadworks on there and it was dark. Lived around here all of my life and ended up getting lost about 5 miles from home!

It was Like driving a rally car with furious hand signals telling me which lane (doesn't help matters with the 5 or 6 lanes outside sealand and then trying to cut across the 2 lanes of traffic coming off the bridge) wouldn't even like to do it in my truck never mind a piddling little seven
