Is the rear wheel white and the front one gold, or do my eyes deceive me?!?

And welcome!

Welcome to the forum.

Great choice of car, colour and engine! (But then I am biased!)

Are you sure you want / need a reverse box?

It'll mean two new props and the box itself. Best part of £700 on parts alone, plus fitting.

I'd say MK themselves could do it, or MNR in North Yorkshire. AB Performance if you are further south?

Might help if you put your location in your profile, might get some more local companies mentioned.

Cheers

Mike

MNR's new reverse box looks pretty good.

Nice lookign car there mate (Apart from the dodgy wheel colours???)

As above, pop a rough location in your profile.

Reverse can range from £350 for a modified starter motor and ring gear (no need for a new prop) from MK.

About £800 all in gets you a reverse box from MNR with new TRT props made to suit (very nice bit of kit by all accounts - in fact I've just ordered one myself)

Then you get into stuff like Quaife where you probably wouldn't see much change from £1400 for the full conversion.

The only reason I'm fitting one is for the IVA else I wouldn't bother........which means in a few months I may have one for sale unless I feel I really need to keep it.

Welcome to the forum. There are indeed several forum members in your area. I'm just down the motorway in Ellesmere Port.

Enjoy the new toy.

I reckon two slightly narrow white stripes would look better.

Have a look on here for some ideas of vinyls:-

Pistonheads Le Mans - Stickers

Admitedly there are not a lot of 7's on there, but there are some great ideas!

Do you like the idea of having reverse or do you actually need reverse?

All a reverse gear does is add unnecessary weight, complications and cost. Unless you need reverse, don't bother fitting one.

Yes i believe this was owned by a builder called Doug, is he on here? If so i would like to find a little bit of history on the car. It has has 3 previous owners. There are no known problems with it are there?

How would you say this car is compared to other MK builds out there?

These are the wheels the car originally had on it when it was built

I bought them off Doug when he upgraded

I love them as they are.

nice wheels, i am after some team dynamics pro race 1.2 or the wolfrace prolite wheels as they are lighter and cheaper. Anyone have an opinion on the wolfrace wheels? Look exactly the same as the team dynamics pro race but lighter?

Not sure but I'd go gor 15 inch or smaller rather than the 16's that you have now.
