Mk bodywork
Guys,
Can anyone confirm if the current MK bonney with the built in bulge will be compatable with the early Mk nose cone and scuttle?
I have a plain flat bonnet and may need one with a bulge in it.
Thanks

I have a bonnet bulge from a Kia Sedona, i.e. what MK used to mould the bulge they sold seperatly to the bonnet in the early days. 30 quid and its
yours?

ive just bought the bonnet with bulge and the new style nosecone. i can confirm they are all compatable. i also think the new bonnet is lighter (maybe
thinner) but less flimsy as the bulge holds it all strong.
im working on the bonnet first as the old one flew off with the intension of fitting the nose cone at a later date. One thing i had to do was open the
inlet to the bulge as it was poorly cut and also has some defects in the gell coat there. looks all good now.
Sorry about my spelling, im an engineer and only work in numbers.

My nosecone and scuttle are circa 2001, have just fitted a new bonnet with bulge, fits fine
The finish on the new fibreglass is superb by the way.
