alfa 159 anyone got one ?
The vectra is now paid for and i need an estate, looking at the alfa 159 same jdt 1.9 engine as the vectra so i'll get it remapped again.
looking for oppions from people that have one or know someone with one, not repeating what they overheared in the pub.

Mate of mine has just bought one. Managed to get 6 miles from the dealer before ripping the side wall out of his tyre. Because they are a special
size the cheapest replacement was £250!!
OK, could have happened to anyone, but at £500 a pair, that's a lot to budget in to servicing / annual costs!

Had a 159 for a couple of weeks as a courtesy car after an accident. Got the 2.4 5 cyl which sounded great. Nice car i would have one but the back
seat legroom was lacking, looks great. igsignia is god damn ugly

I have one - What can I say?
I love it
I just don't understand how anyone could contemplate getting an Alfa or something like the Insignia at the same time. you either get it or you
don't with Alfas. If you do then nothing else will do. If you don't then you won't understand why someone else would have one.
it's a marmite thing
cheers

I have a 156 and its brilliant, but I've driven the 159 and I won't buy one. It understeers when pushed, the seats are crap compared to
the 156 and as you correctly point out its a vauxhall in disguise. Not a true Alfa.

I drive a 156, and would love a 159 sportwagon. Maybe next year....

Quick remedy to that, get another set of rims
Or find out if another profile size is cheaper and replace the lot, did that once. The originals were £65 each but with an extra 5% on the tyrewall it
was £120 for all four for the same brand tyres
