running out of steam!!!!!
Things aren going as planned i took dlivery of my mk R in sept me and my dad are buildin it together and only have wed and sat afternoons on it, we
just dont seem to be getting very far, i spent alot of time havin stuff powdercoated and its comin on but i was on hol then my dad then in
hospital.
This weekdn has just got worse on fri i got up and went to the gym on the way down the street i passed a transit van that plled in fron of me and
parked really funny, 20 mins later i get a call sayin that someon had ripped my garage door off, i got home th alarm was goin and the door half up
bent and recked it is a 30ft gargae x11ft so it has a big door, they reversed the van up my drive, they only came for one thing which was my yamaha
raptor 700 quad for the road which cost me £8000 it is bolted down well they couldn get the door up as it is electric so they bent it
i have a big post to put in the ground but been in a wheelchair after a motorbike accident 3 years ago(no silly comment on buying a quad its in my
blood) it isn easy to move.
i then received my automatic clutch from efm auto clutches for my gsxr 1000 k5 (i sent them mine and they modified it)which i have been waitin for for
3 months this has held the build up, i started to fit today and came across some problems the biggest been when you screw the top part of the clutch
on it catches on the side of the casing i am slightly gutted and pissed off but hopefully it will sort
sorry for the moan!!!!

thats good then mate
at least you still have your belongings,
i'd be tempted to get a real camera just in case they do manage to take something
then at least you would have some video of them (i hope you never need to but if they've tried before chances are they will try again)
any pics of your car on here?

not v nice m8, to be fair thievery does seem to follow travellers around - doesnt mean they all are, just that it seems in every travelers
group there are some people that seem to think its ok to steal.
just seems coincidental that a group of travelers rocks up, there are a lot of thefts in the general area, then they go away again and the thefts go
down again...
sorry to hear about you experience chap, i hate thieving scum. hope your build starts picking up soon!

Its important to keep your toys under wraps if you can, dont know how you go about it when your working outside. But maybe a change to your driveway
with trees to screen it off maybe.
If your on a busy road, parking a balls out quad outside while your in the garage is too obvious for MrPikey or any other theiving T0RD..
Your toys get spotted and they pick their moment. If you leave stuff outside throw a cover over it..
At least when their not theiving they drink and hit each other, oh and get locked up.

my neighbours, (old retired couple) bought a new caravan to replace there tired old one, some all singing all dancing van with solar power panels and
all the accesories inside, really really nice piece of kit
not so long back the old lad gets the caravan all sorted, loaded up with there belonging, for a week away,
him and his wife left the caravan for no more than an hr outside while they went to the local sainsburys to stock up on supplies.
on there return they find the caravan gone,
the wheel brace thing holding it had been cut of using some form of gas axe,
the really amazing thing is this happened in broad daylight and no one heard or seen anything.
They should get an insurance payout but probably no where near the value everythings cost them,
A lad in the street said they should get a rottweiler to guard there next van but i'm pretty sure the pikeys would befriend that aswell.

If it keeps happening, id get Redcare installed. This will notify the police immediately.
Get a proper High Quality camera installed too, with a DVR.

when you have these kind of things you watch your every move, i got followed a week ago and led them to another address at 1030 at night he drove past
me twice. the qyad is garaged but i wash it outside and cover it up, was gonna get a bigger gate where you couldn see in but this might hlep them as
noone would see what they are doing
have had to stay in this weekend and cant get the gargage open on my own as the door would just drop off great , never mind

are you one of them ?? sorry, but it seems like you came on here merely to try and point out a bit of 'discrimination' that was barely
evident in the first place - its acts like that, that mean we live in this ridiculously PC country.
explain why it seems evidence of thievery and vandalism goes up when travellers come round? have you ever had them pitch up down the end of your road?
i have.

hilariously, i thought you were serious benzine! Amazing.
I would state for the record that 100% of pikeys ARE thieves.
My sister is a bit of a softie whos listened to too many levellers songs about travellers, and doesnt see the reality at the coal face. I see the
thieving c**ts drive past jobs im on most weeks with their eyes peeled for scrap, and several times ive walked out to see pikeys taking stuff without
asking if its going spare.
Last year, for memories sake, i reread a book by Malcolm saville, where the lad in it went off with gypsies for a few days, and it had me in stitches
how much things have changed since then!
Theiving bastards.
100%.
