So I've got a week off...

.. next week and my plan is to finally get in the garage and start building this car.

Now for the numpty questions.. I haven't bought any nuts/bolts etc yet so want to place an order before the weekend so they are here next week. What do I need to order? And any suggestions where from? I dont know of any local places (Worcester).

Plan is to do following:

- attach floor panel: what rivets as I recall people saying that the ones supplied by MK are the open type.

- attach wishbones: what strength of steel should these bolts be and which type?

- attach uprights: got raceleda ones, are these different in fitting?

- run brake lines: thinking braided all the way through. Is there any reason (bar cost) not to?

- run fuel lines

- attach fuel tank: rivets OK for this?

I think you would want to bolt the fuel tank in so it can be removed if nesersary

How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

8.8 bolts..
Rivenuts+ strap + rubber inner tube lining is how I fixed my tank (some have welded wings so you don't need straps).
I used some proper multigrip 4.2mm rivets from primary fasteners (phone them up very nice company).. These are sealed type but not "closed"..

I used the rivets every 30mm/40mm +PU for the floor.. Some might say this is over kill but this the correct spacing for these fasteners..
