K&N Filter, weber DGV (DGAS) and bonnet

Has anyone got a Pinto with DVG Carb(or dgas - I think they are the same size etc), and also have an "oval" K&N Filter fitted. Would be interest in seeing the detail of the bonnet area, and whether you need to cut any of it away, and if so how much to clear the filter.
