the distance from the top of the scuttle to the bottom of the body is 66cm.

Many thanks Paul.
My estimate was 27" and your measurement is 26".
I can get on with putting my garage roof on now,

Have I missed the point, or are you having a garage with the roof 26(ish) inches off the ground?!?!?

Look at his username- clearly he's a dwarf and is building a garage to match!

Might want to make the roof a bit higer as the steering wheel might stick over the top of the scuttle! (i guess ur not having a roll bar)

If and when i ever get an Indy finished i intend to hoist it up into the roof of my garage so i can work on something else underneath and want to know how tall one is minus its rollbar and wheels so i dont keep banging my head on it.
Hope this helps.

I know its all in good humour and thats how its taken, ive enjoyed watching everyone try and work out what i was doing as its something i did years ago with a mini which are a bit heavier at around 800kg so i know it works.
now my garage is nearly finished i might actually get round to ordering my kit at Newark or very soon after.
Does MK allow test drives in the demo and how is it arranged?
