Back on the road
Yeay she's back on the road, after nearly 6 months in the garage after an off track excursion my baby's back on the road. tried to get
through MOT on satd'y an it failed on front brake balance. New pads fitted but still imbalanced...any ideas (oh i've swapped the discs
over and shall take it back this afternoon to see if that cures it)
Cheers

Could have a sticking piston if its been stood for that long.
I'm sure I've got one, just don't know where I've put it

It passed....just! still needs sorting though, while the pads were out I pushed the piston out and back......seemed ok. Can you get pistons and seals
to rebuild the hefty Sierra units? Other option is a nice Hispec setup :-)

Squeeze them all the way back, lift the seal and WD40 them if they aren't leaking, then put some copperslip round them to keep moisture out and
put the seals back. Messy but effective.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Yup, Saturday was spend buggering around at the MOT place or blasting around the local roads trying to get the brakes warm!!........still I've
used 2 tanks of fuel so far, more sun please!
Don't think I missed too much at Newark, went to Sheffield on Sunday and on the way back saw Martin with the new beast on his trailer!!
