electric reverse

hi guys hope one of you might be able to help me i am building my own electric reverse kit i know most people use a bosch vw starter as did mk but i've heard they use a different starter now thats smaller does anyone know what type the new starter is?

When I spoke to MK last April at Stoneleigh they reckoned they didn't know about the VW motor & so they used a Ford one that they get rewired to go in the correct rotation. Can't understand what's going on there, maybe they just want to flog you a £200 starter motor, anyway I've gone the DIY route with a VW motor & it works ok.

i have used a honda civic one, a remanufactured one on ebay. This is what i have done

Where is that going to be located in the line up front rear or middle looks quite large thats all and is it in middle joint ??
