mk indy. i bought the header pipes from mk but didnt get the can. i forgot to ask them if i need there exhaust on or if i can use a normal motorbike
can. anyone had to deal with the emissions issue?
cheers

What year is the engine, carbs or injection?
Pre Aug'95 and you can don't need a cat. Post '95 and the requirements are strickter, you'll need a cat' (not the bike
one).

Remember, the minute you stick a bike engine in a car, it becomes a car engine as far as emmissions go, so stricter than for a post '95 bike
also.
Tell them about the bent treacle edges!

Hi
its a 2006 k6 engine, fuel injection.
the exhaust that MK sell, does that have the cat built into it?
do you know if you need to remap the fuel injection to get the emissions down or will just the cat be ok?

You'll need a car size cat. MK do a silencer with a cat built in I believe. You'll also need a PowerCommander to adjust the fueling.
