Blade engine mounting

Guys,

Just started mounting my blade engine into the cradle ready to drop it into the car and had a couple of questions.

Spoke to MK and they advised me to tap out the two top mounts which I've done but wondered whether others have just screwed the bolt through the cradle into the engine or have you put a lock-nut\nyloc on the end just to be sure it stays inplace or just used a locking washer\threadlok?

Also, on the upper rear mount I have not got the long bolt that is used on the bike so was just going to use some M10 threaded rod but wondered if this would be ok or I should specifically get a long M10 bolt?

An lastly, does everyone just mount the cradle straight into the car or has anyone used hard rubber washers in-between the cradle and the chassis to damp vibration at all?

Any help would be most appreciated.

ta,
Rich.

If it`s any consolation i`d though along the same lines, like the steering column ( which is now fitted as solid as a rock), just for that little bit of "give" and vibration damping. Have been looking, along the lines of a bike type rear shock bushng for something suitable?
Will probably end up solid too!
Regards
