Thoughts on this MK?
Hello all, thinking of going for another 7 style car and was wondering what people's thoughts on this one are:

Looks well built but the only way to know for sure is to go and have a butchers at it?

I saw that - Im not a fan of the yellow but it looks very well specc'd.
Ultima GTR - 600hp Magnacharged LS2
MNR Vortx - Supercharged R1
Porsche 356 - midmounted Audi V8

Hi
Very nice engine 5-7K to build new. However very expensive to repair WHEN it goes wrong. The gearbox BGH HD will not take the power/torque so needs
upgrading to a proper Quaife / Tranex. And it's all in a chassis that certainly wont Handel that power / torque. All adds up to a big
disappointment and expensive to sort engine.
With a 10K budget to play with there's plenty of choice out there with a much better more balanced package.

Hello mate, sold the old car early in the year, as half way through yet another 6 monther and will miss all the track days this summer. To be honest
the BEC was good but hard work after a while., although never say never but will have to be faster next time!
Got rid of the TVR too, but have a Porsche 911 in the garage now and looking at another 7 type car to add to it.
How are things with you then? When is the car fixed?

summer hols coming up, then i'll have some time to get it through the emissions.
