We used to see him jogging through Arlesey while training for the marathons he did for charity. Think he used to stay at Henlow Grange health spa. RIP

Sadly, the one thing that he won't be able to fix.

The first shell suit gangsta rapper we ever saw lol. Gold shell suit init !
He used to drive past our street with a load of taxies with handicapped children in them. They then would go from rivington barn to Blackpool illuminations.
RIP Jim

Another icon of light entertainment bites the dust...of course he didn't bite it as hard as Rod Hull who died after wrestling with his tv aerial (and Emu) and falling off the roof.

Bad times. We used to bump into him walking round the lake, he was always amusing people.

Many years ago we were driving round the high Yorkshire moors - passed some eccentric jogger with long white hair pounding along - yep, it was Jimmy S out on one of his runs...

Daft old begger, but none the worse for that...

He'll be missed but 84 isn't a bad innings.

RIP Jimmy.

I've seen RIP threads on 6 forums for him now and not a single one has spelled his surname right
