oil sandwich plate for turbo return ?
Hi, just wondered if anyone has used a oil cooler sandwich plate for oil return from a turbo rather than modify a sump ? Or think of any reason why
or why not ?

if you mean as when fitted to the filter, then that would be on the pump pressure side rather than a open return

I've seen crankcase breathers, oil filler caps and dipstick holes used for turbo oil returns but as said, the oil filter assembly is on the
pressurised side of the oil pump.
