mk indy's @ stoneleigh?

hi, just wondering how who will be taking their mk indy to the stoneleigh show next month?
I was hoping to see more than one at detling but im sure weather played a part in that.
Hope to see loads of you there for some tips and ideas.prior to buying one (still saving).
P.s thanks to dave from eccles who let my boy sit in his mk and gave me lots of tips and club info at detling .well done on a fantastic build dave.

I was thinking about the sunday, still trying to convince a mate to join me. It would be a two eighty mile round trip but I oftern do that I a day.
The weather will play a part, with only a shower type hood and no heater it could be an adventure- but the wife wants me out of the garage and driving the thing so may take the oportunity.

Ditch
Ps advice form those who have gone before, if you go in your kitcar do you park in the main public car park or do you go to the kit car entrance? Will they then send you to the makers parking or an area of general kit car parking?

There'll be plentyof Indys there. Weather will have a big influence on numbers but all things being equal Sunday is better than Mon as a lot of the ovarnight campers often pack up and leave for home early (esp' if it's pissed down).

If you arrive in a kit go to the KitCar entry. Free for the driver to enter but they'll charge any passenger and charge for camping (not much chance to hide the camping kit in a kit). Once in just find your owners club stand/pitch (even if you're not a member) and park up. There'll be a map in the program or just cruise around untill you find it.

I'm planning to head down Sat afternoon and return Mon PM in the Fury.

Its easy to spot the MK area, just head for the big tent with the most noise. Even easier to spot after midnight...

Even on it's worst dayStoneleigh is huge compared to Detling.

Sun morning might seem quiet if you arrive early but from 11.30 onwards should be busy as most of the kit owners will have arrived by then. Will quiet down from 3ish as the day trippers head home.

There will be lots of MK's at Stoneleigh, but Newark is always the best turn out for MK's, think we had 38 on a Sunday one year

I was hoping to be there in my MK but my DVLA inspection date isn't until after the show. Now planning to drive over in the tin top on saturday and stay in a nearby premier inn to get there early on the sunday.

All being well, I should be at Newark in the kit car instead
