Wing mirrors with roll cage. What sort are best and fixed where?

I have a pair of GSXR 1000 K1 mirrors from the bike I stripped but they are badly scratched. Before I replace them I wanted to get ideas for any other mirror types that may be suitable. Also where do people mount them to.... on the scuttle or on the roll cage?? Any photos??

Another related issue..... i was looking at side repeaters on the mirrors. I have drilled holes in the ends of the gsxr mirrors and fitted side repeaters as a test. I think they would be suitable and meet visibility angle requirements but the repeater could be obscure by my roll cage side bars if viewed from a certain height. Will this be an issue? Again when I tested position of mirrors being mounted to the scuttle the roll cage side bars were visible. Is this acceptable or do I need to look at mounting higher on roll cage itself.

Cheers.

So, anyone got photos of mirrors on an MK roll cage? Just wondering at what sort of height people have mounted them.

Cheers

Mine will be quite high up. Most probably in my line of sight.
Not done the brackets. Might just clamp them to the cage now lol
