Boot panel ideas?
Trying to figure out what to do for a boot panel. At the minute Im thinking 1.2mm aluminium sheet either powder coated or carbon wrapped. Any other
suggestions?
Also wondering how a flat boot panel fits at the joint between the rear GRP panel and side panel - the top of the side panel is higher than the lip on
the rear panel where the boot panel will sit.
If anyone has any photos it would be much appreciated!
Cheers!!

Made my boot cover from a fiberglass of cut from a local canopy maker at no cost, thin rubber trim round the edge painted black small lock fitted.
Think about it, think about it again and then do it.

I used what I had lying around, 3mm MDF, 6mm ply for the floor and off cuts of 1.2 and 1.0mm ally.

I used ally sheet and wrapped it in 3m gloss black. www.aluminiumwharehouse.co.uk are good for supply ally cut to size.
Motorbike faring clips are used to hold the middle part in place.
IMO I would avoid using too much carbon wrap.

I used 2mm aluminium, etched primer and black crinkle paint finish. Increased the height of the rear bulkhead to match the rear panel and surrounding
area.
