Just had a quick glance, its a zetec not a duratec engine. Exhaust exits wrong side for duratec and it says ST170 which confirms its a zetec.

the add is a little confusing as in the photo of the engine bay it quite clearly states Duratec ST which is in fact a zetec as stated by Ed.

as its the ST170 engine (170bhp when spanking new) with 40,000 it certainly wont be kicking out the 180bhp he claims in the power section of the add, the exhaust manifold looks quite restrictive and my guess would be that if they have just dropped it straight in they it want have any uprated internals. its had the normal intake (injection) manifold removed and had bike carbs and a megasquirt in to replace it, if that hasn't been set up on the rollers, i'd be surprised if it even putting out 150bhp at the flywheel.

Agree with all the above, also its the old MK Chassis, look for a Indy R if you can, you can pick them up for around £7500, far better than the old chassis

Push rod front suspension and 'better / corrected' rear pick up points.

Also I notice there are quite a few people advertising Indy R's that are not, you can clearly see the outboard shocks.

The Chassis is completely different, sharing only its overal size with the old Indy in order that MK could still use the same body work, designed by "Mad Dave flavel" who also designed the Road Runner SR2
