GT1 on "A Racing Car Is Born" ?
Did anyone catch the GT1 chassis on A Racing Car Is Born last night on Discovery home and leasure? At least i think it was the GT1 as all we saw was a
rear motorbike engined chassis (no bodywork) driving around an airfield on a track day in Yorkshire. The Indy demo car was also there and some guy was
beating everyone with his white bike powered Indy.
Nice one!

Didn't see it, but set my video machine to record it (hopefully !!).
Any way going to see Mart tommorro so I can ask.
Look out on Men and Motors in the next few weeks as the GT1 is on that. It's on a programme where a guy gets to chose between 4 kit cars. I'll
let u guess wot happens !

Didn't recognise the chassis (but I'm not a MK expert!) but I did see Martin's bike-engined demonstrator hammering round.
He also got a heap of good publicity from the bloke driving the white Blackbird-engined MK Indy... quote "if you don't spin off occasionally,
you're not trying hard enough!". That man was driving fast! (must be a relative of Jon Ison)

Jon Ison is a mad man that owns a wicked fireblade engined rocket. He can reach some remarkable speeds as he always has a strong tail wind to help him
along.
He's also a top bloke.

Would that be mad Kev. I think so. Why selling mate are the paparatzi camped outside your door now you're a TV star?
BTW Kev, Jon Ison is not a top bloke. He is an ungrateful dirty arsed bastard who just happens to have a 157bhp (allegedly) blade engine in his Robin
Hood look-a-like Locost.
x-flow, the way to go!

So Kev can you tell me what Mark Evans is like. I'm a big fan of his and have watched just about all his "Athingy is born" programmes.
What i want to know is did westfield give him the car in return for all the advertising?
Give uz any dirt!!!!!
Andy "A pratt is born!"
P.S. Was it the GT1 that they were testing? It was the one without a body....but you knew that...right?

hey locodude do I know you, only close friends call me mad kev. I'm selling cos me's had enough of the cold and it's getting colder by the day (not
that that's ever stopped me looning in the bitter cold). I'm selling up, car, house and off backpacking around south east asia.
Robin hood & blade motor, can't see that being too quick.

can't say I spoke to Mark that much,I've only ever seen one of his programs. I was too busy fueling for the next Torvil and Dean session. He seemed
an OK kind of bloke but you've got to remember he's not a petrol head he's an ex-vet now presenter. He wasn't over enthusiastic about looning
around an airfield unlike the rest of us. Wonder if he's ever had his arm up a cows arse (I shook his hand!).
