Syd Bridge connected to war on terrorism!
I was doing some reading on terrorism and who should pop up but Syd!
Link to the War On Terrorism and Sydney Bridge.
The pay isn't very good , but the work's hard.

i can cope with sydney harbour = syd bridge, but where does the terror bit come from ?

I did a search for "war on terrorism" which lead me to that site. If you scroll down that page, you'll see a "war on
terrorism" hyperlink.
Quite a few unimaginative Aussies living or travelling abroad call themselves Syd Bridge after their beloved Sydney Harbour Bridge...hence the
connection.

We have the best bridge in the world.it crosses the Humber estuary......
I could call myself humbridge but syd might take umbrage....No offence.LOL

the humber bridge is so large, that the tops of opposite towers are 2 inches further apart than the bases, due to the curvature of the earth.

the bridge wobbles like hell on the way back from a visit to the Wheatshief pub in Barton .. quite stable on the way there though... strange.
