What shocker lengths.

Will be ordering some Protech shockers soon and need to know what length I need for the front and rear.

Cheers

All depends on the design of your chassis, eg depth of chassis, wheel track, rake of suspension, etc

I needed 14" units at front due to wider track than book, and a chassis 2" deeper than book. Similarly mounting points at the rear needed to be further inboard (and therefore more inclined) to avoid the wheel rims. However, they remained at 12".

Are you building your own chassis? if it is book, then very likely 12" all round will do. Otherwise, you are the designer and must make the decision.

Shocker lengths

Thanks for the reply, I am building a Mcsorley 7+442 with IRS so it is going to be a pick and mix of standard items and modified ones. Track is going to be based on the sierra. I am in the process of designing my prototype suspension arms and hubs etc to try out on the chassis so needed some info on lengths just to get some ideas of whats needed.

Cheers
