Just one question I forgot to ask (more to come later I expect) do you get a build manual with the kit ?

you do but it's not all that detailed.
take a camera and get as many pics as you can of any other cars that are there for reference.

From what I gather you might get a couple of pages. Just think of it as a giant jigsaw.
A bit of slapstick never hurt anyone.

I started with the build manual but funnily enough it's collecting dust now!!!
Take LOADS of pictures from all wierd angles and also get as many pictures together from other sites\builders.
Always post any queries here as chances are someone has had the same problem.
It is also very handy if you can sometimes chat something through, if you want U2U me and I'll give you my phone number given that I am building
an Indyblade too!! Not promising I know the answers but at least we can be confused together!! a problem shared....and all that.
HTH,
Rich.

Kev,
have a look at our website. Its not a build manual but it should give you some idea. Like everyone says, we're all here to help each other.
Well... most of us are.
If weathers OK, we'll be at MK Sportscars on Saturday morning. 10:30 - 12:00ish. Just so Snoopy can't clock off early.....

stage up
After selling my Robin Hood (first project) just bought a abandend MK Indy prject.
Coming over the channel next weekend to collect it.
I think I made a good choice. Considering what engine I will take.
My brother in law drives a Stuart Taylor with a blackbird engine. I considering a 1.8 Zetec,
Any suggestions for evt. problems
Marcel.

I want to change it to lefthanddrive, so the steering is no problem. What does a dry sump cost about?

And another dutch Indy. A warm welcome!
Speaking from experience: a Zetec is no problem, just make sure you arrange some engine mounts. And someone you can make you an exhaust manifold (if
you can't do it yourself).

Thanks,
Just spoke a while to Siert on the phone, and took a look on mk-indy's site.
Giving me more and more an idea. Still considering between a zetec and BEC,
because my miss won't get in, thanks to my brother in law, who took her for a drive in his Westy. Her respons: never and never again.
But first the kid and then I will consider.
Marcel.
