White GRP Bucket Seats - Double Skin
I bought these from Salad here a few months back to replace some Intatrim Voyagers but....
My wife's just bought me a pair of black seats for my birthday (see rest of car), so apart from me sitting in them in the kitchen making *vroom
vroom* noises they aren't being used which seems a bit of a waste of their talents.
They were bought new by Salad from KitCars Direct and never used, or by me because I'm....what's the polite euphemism for lazy?
I bought a set (for both seats) of adjustable universal rail mounts for £40 and will include these too. They were never opened (apart from to take the
picture!)
There are some close ups on that gallery you can see and also the original thread has a close up of the chip. The in car pic is just sat in the car
(on top of other seats) when I was checking the fit.
They are these seats:

And this is the original sale thread:

Dimensions as per links.
£200 collection - I'm in Southampton.

Might be interested in a couple of weeks if I get a deal on a project I'm after, if you haven't sold them by then.
Look like a good deal to me

I'll avoid shipping if I possibly can just because of the size of them and the faffing involved in packing them - sorry

Short answer is yes - in that the seats have M8 threads embedded in the base .....
Long answer is.......but I've only ever taken the packing off them to photograph for this thread - never fitted them .......but dammit man
you've asked an engineer and I can't help myself!
I made sure they were long enough that the rails covered the mounting pattern on the seats - though I assumed I would have to adjust at least one hole
if the pitch between holes was slightly different to the rails.
From experience of my current seats, any deviation from perfectly flat between the bottom of the seats (which are very stiff) and the rail results in
a small tension (i.e a slight bend) being placed in the rail - this isn't a problem so much but it places a small static load in the bearings of
the runners and makes the runners seem like they are stiff to slide - so in order to keep the runners 'light' to slide I put a 1mm PTFE
washer between my current GRP seats and the runners (they're Tillett's) such that they only sit on the two points where the bolts go
through - thus there is no tension put into the runner.
I'll go and measure up tomorrow if you like and add pics - tho I may be out of M8 bolts (hangs head in shame)

I had very similar seats, I found that i had to make a couple of spacers up, one between the seat and the runner as the runner operated on a ratchet
system and another between the runner and the floor of the car to give clearance.

I have these seats, love them myself. I have M8 ID, M12 OD spacers.
I've put in some load spreading plates too, so that the internal threaded bits don't get ruined.

It's well worth finding some small head bolts (not socket cap or allen head) and fitting from underneath, a couple of guys have hit speedbumps
and sheared the tops of protruding bolts!
Jacksdad on MEVOG has made a very elaborate protecting plate for his build.

I mounted my seats with dome head M8's and CS washers (http://www.kartpartsuk.com/product.php?id=3088) a single M8 washer between the rails and
the floor and an M8 Teflon washer between the seats and the rails.
As for sleeping policemen - I've got a C20XE so the lowest part of my car is the oil filter - teaches a fair amount of respect for the underside
of the car.....after the first 7-8 engine blow ups
