MK Indy R brought as half built

Hi all,

Not long had my Indy, I picked it up as a half built project and I am going over everything to make sure all is well, I must say the previous work done is of a fairly decent standard so I am hopeful this will be a great little machine.

So the issue I am currently running into is with the electrics, with auto electronics not being a strong point I have managed to figure what I have and what’s going where,

What I have is a 2l Zetec blacktop, Omex 600 ECU, ETB Digidash lite 2 and the main loom which I need to get working together.

So I have the main loom in and everything goes to the relays/fuses needed and then to two black multi pin plugs, I’ve got the ecu connected to the engine other then the oil and water temp as Im not sure where they go, does any body know how I connect everything together?

Would be very appreciated if somebody could point me in the right direction.

Thanks

Ben

Hi Ben,and welcome
Do you mean the actual connections or what goes where?
Put your location in your settings, someone who is close to you may be able to have a look.

Thanks 40inches, I’ve altered the location now so if someone is around that would be great.

I just need to know if I connect the dash, auxiliaries straight into the the other side of the main loom plugs (after relays and fuses) really? Don’t want to be shorting anything out or breaking it before I even start.

Thanks

Hi coskev3

I am already a member to that group but I’m just to the greatest Facebook fan, do you think I would have more luck on there then?

Thanks

Brilliant I’ll have a go on there then if I must,

Well MK are literally about 5mins from my house but I don’t want to keep bothering the guys down there (very nice bunch) if I can get an answer fairly easily online to what what I assume is probably an easy task.

Thanks again
Ben
