Exhaust hole surround

Cut the hole in the side panel for my exhaust last night, a bit scary but turned out nice. Drilled four holes in the corners and then used the Dremel, came up a treat.

I want to put an ali surround on the hole and woould like to find out how much it would be to get this laser cut so that it is nice and accurate.

Does anyone know where I could get this done or how much it is likely to be?

ta,
Rich.

Thanks,

Will draw up the template and email it, any particular format or just so it shows the dimensions?

Rich.

really just draw it exactly as you want it - full size...dimensions may help too, just to be sure.

how thick would you want it?

No problem, will email tonight, it's info@colibriman.com isn't it?

I reckon 3mm should do the trick, I was thinking of having two, one either side so as to act as a bit of a heat sink and protect the fibreglass.

Rich.

I have access to a 8'x4' CNC flat bed punch, which although not quite as neat as a laser can cut shapes and holes in stainless (up to 3mm) and aluminium (up to 5mm).

Cheers Mike

Mike,
I'm initially going to get a fireblade one priced up - I want 2 of these also....I would get these done on a CNC milling machine.
See what price you can sort out using the CNC Punch - It would be good to have another option.
