I spoke to MK a while ago and they gave me approximate dimensions of 20" long x 20" wide x 2" high (max). Worth checking, though

Also, kingr has a picture of his car with the MK scoop on: Imgp0397shrunk.jpg

Thanks for the info

Does it bend much to fit the curvature of the bonnet, from here that one in the pic looks like its got a bit of a gap round the outer edges?

Chris,

This was a really nicely finished indy made by a mate of mine - attention to detail is his thing..................believe me there would have been no gap around the edge!

Thanks for the measurements, i think the "gap" must be a trick of the light in that pic maybe, does look a very nice build, 10x tidier than my car

Also, how much internal clearance does it give you, is the 2" mentioned above fairly constant along the main section?

you can rest assured it must be the light playnig tricks on you!

I dont know about the clearance on the scoop, in all fairness when he had the bonnet off the last thing on my mind was to go and take a look at the underside of the bonnet, i was too busy going WOW at the standard of the build under it!

The dash edgng is vinyl covered wood, as are the door tops and he covered the centre of the steering wheel in blue vinyl himself too

Cheers Col, I wasnt questioning the fit n finish on the car, I was just a bit concerned that the scoop rear edge might be quite rigid and so might not bend round to fit the profile of my bonnet
