There was another in the poorpers carpark as well, we don't all get the luxury track side parking

The 1 in the pic looked to be running twin SU's, unusual setup

There should have been one competing today....

Me

Set off this morning at 6.46am only to have head gasket blow 4 miles from Harewood. spent the rest of the day getting recovered by RAC and replacing aforementioned head gasket

Severely Miffed

Mark

Oh man unlucky

We saw the name in the program and didn't think we'd seen 1 in the pits, was hopeing to see an Mk stick it to the big boys.

Thought there might have been a few BEC 7's racing, but maybe they don't suit the hillclimb so well.

Mark I was talking with jacko today he told me what had happened to your car.

Sorry to hear of your problems I had been wondering where you were when you did not turn up in the morning.

Still could have been worse it could have let go going up the hill may have done more than just head gasket.

Tony.

Hi Tony

If I hadn't had to go home to do that welding it might just have lasted the day...

Ah well it seems to be ok now with no permanent damage - I'll be back

No pics of me on your latest collection I see. Don't practise photos count?

Cheers

Mark

Yeh the car looked really nice, didn't think it could be that old cos it had the newer Mk side pannels that stop b4 the wishbones.

A bit of looking around the airfilter wondering how webbers had onli 2 hols in the bonnet lol and could just see the tops of the bells, was almost really rude and popped the bonnet off for a look but knew i'd be distraught if I saw some1 do that 2 my car

Kept and eye out for an owner lurking near but never saw ya, me n me dad were there both wiv Valentino Rossi shirts on incase u'd spotted us lurking around lol
