ZX12R First Run Out

Today was my (Steve) first run out in't Hellfire. WOW I thought the 'blade was fast! It is a very, very mean motor... I have never experienced anything like it in my life - even on a bike.

This is one car where respect is absolutely paramount... I thought the blade would out accelerate anything. The power delivery is awesome... for those with a 'blade engine... it goes like this. When you reach 6000 revs in the blade and the power kicks in... it's a bit like that, from about 1000 revs all the way up to 11500! In almost any gear...

I daren't put my foot down in 1,2 or 3rd gears as the back end will snap out of line I'm sure, even with 888's on.

One thing though - it seems to run very hot... I think this motor will take some time to get used to.

Just thought I would share that with you all. We are going out soon to capture some footage on video... maybe tomorrow (Monday evening!) nothing elaborate... will post on website when edited. Be careful out there we might be coming the other way!
