WLR by Alan Whitehead

Hi peeps

Does anyone know if the body of the new WLR will fit direct onto the indy chassis? The WLR is suposed to have an indy chassis. I think it's better looking than the GT1 and would be a cheaper alternative due to not having to purchase the rear diff setup.

cheers

Andy

Hi Andy
I've seen the car a few times at their place and i'm not too sure. The top rails of the chassis have been widened to accomodate the cossy engine but i don't know if the bodywork uses this area for support. The area where the fuel tank sits has been lifted also to allow room for the rear splitter underneath, there may be other mods as well, best to ring 'em and have a chat, they're very nice blokes. Ask to speak to Des or Alan, although where you come from you may need an interprator!
p.s. It looks mean in the flesh and they're serious. They'll be driving it to Le Mans in the summer!

Cheers Chris, i'll give them a ring next week.

Incidently i will be requiring some internal panels from you soon. My kit "should" be ready for collection fairly soon (it's being built now apparently). Will you be able to meet me at MK on the Sat morning of collection? I'm not sure which Sat it will be yet but it won't be too long. Also do you supply the rear panel (behind the driver)?

Cheers

Andy

Hi Andy
Yes I can supply the panels and the one behind the seats and yes I should be there, if I'm not for any reason then the panels will. Just let me know which ones you need.
Cheers
