Chassis height and width & Full Cage

Hi,

Can someone confirm the height of the chassis where you climb in and the width across the car.

Just trying to measure up for my full MK cage in my Locost.

Cheers,

Pat...

the cage looks really nice, but will that extreme bend to get it to run parallel to the dash kill all the strength in the front upright?

dunno what the standard cage looks like though, and i'm sure the 'experts' will be along soon.

good point Tom!

Pat could you add some triangular bracing plates/webs on the inside of the sharp bend?

Car's coming along well though - reckon you'll get it done before the bairn arrives?

I haven't finished mine yet and we're just about to move house (knocking walls down, new kitchen etc) and then the bairn arrives at xmas. Oh well, next year it is then

Cheers
Nick

Looks a bit extreme in the pic, but will (should) look like this (from Shorties archive) when it's done.

Hi Nic - no chance before the ikkle one arrive - 4 weeks and counting.

Waiting on parts more than anything - and the money to pay for them.

Are we both aiming for Newark next year - pints are on me!

Newark sounds good to me!

Can you fit baby seats to these cars?

Cheers
