wheel / Tyre choices

Has anyone had experiance with Toyo Proxes T1S tyres? I am getting mixed messages here as to what is the best as a fast road , occasional sprint tyre , mostly due to brand bias.
For the indy. I will be using TSW EVO3R wheels in 15x7 size and have been recomended to use a 205x50x15.

I would say they are about perfect. I had some on my Mazda MX5 and they were superb!

Yep second that. Just bought a set last week. Superb. They wore pretty fast on a Mk3 Golf GTi which is a good thing for a car which weighs so much less. Im planning on the occasional sprint and although I dont expect them to be as good as R888s, theyre less than half the price so Ill see how they go and possibly invest in some better rubber if Im doing more track/sprints.

I got a set from wheelbase on eBay for £140 including delivery (195/50/15).

Im certainly a happy camper

Thanks, good to know I am on the right track. This is the first MK in New Zealand so I am having to make a lot of assumptions on specs that will work well together.
