Chrome or not??

Been looking at getting my roll bar chromed but having difficulty finding somewhere that can do it, has rear stays on making it too big for most places.

Now starting to think of just getting it powder coated black and have done with the dam thing.

Black will probably go better with the black wheels I've just ordered anyway.

If anyone knows of anywhere that can chrome the roll bar, preferably in Yorkshire or not too far way let me know.

Wish i could make up my mind, just call me mister indecisive.

I was thinking the same as you, but after getting quotes decided to try painting the bar myself. I got some industrial black spray, applied 5-6 thin coats and t-cut it once dry. Finish is as good if not better than powder coat on chassis and very easy to refinish if it chips. On my wishbones I had silver Camcoat applied, this is a very hard paint finish which can be polished to an almost chrome finish, and won't rust if damaged.

CamCoat ?? I work for a company called Cameron and we supply oil field equipement anyway. Most of our trade marks start CAM*** Like Camtrol etc. Do you know if CamCoat is a Cameron Product or trade mark?

Scot's do it better in Kilts.
